Herman Grant Creasman

March 11, 1933 — August 6, 2023

Herman Grant Creasman, 90, a lifetime resident of Meigs County went to be with his Savior on August 6, 2023. He retired from Combustion Engineering and enjoyed working on his farm. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother Edith Grant and Rev. Earl Creasman, two sons Kirk Moore Creasman and Scott Grant Creasman and two sisters Patsy Ann Hays and Hazel Hennessee.

Herman leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 70 years, Ruth Moore Creasman, one son and his wife Thomas Earl & Michelle Creasman, one brother Donald Creasman (Tiny), seven grandchildren Ben Creasman (Sky), Amy Beth Medley (Keith), Sarah Elizabeth Creasman (Duncan Brocklehurst), James Creasman, Anna Hope Creasman (Brandon Lee), Trey Watson (Kayla) and Tyler Watson (Tiffany), eight great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund in care of Sara Roberts at P. O. Box 1231 Decatur, TN 37322 in Herman’s memory.
