Henry W. "Hank" Baldwin

Henry W. “Hank” Baldwin, 90, passed away early Friday morning, November 12, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brighton, AL on June 6, 1931, a son of the late Walter & Florence Baldwin. Hank was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force after faithfully serving his country. He was of the Baptist faith and attend Clingan Ridge Baptist Church until declining health prevented that. Hank enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family around the pool.
In addition to his parents, his also is preceded in death by his first wife Mary Evelyn Baldwin and five sisters and one brother all from Alabama- Francis Clifton, Mary Johnson, Nell Taylor, Verna Ledgerwood, Evelyn Adams, and Walter Lee Baldwin.
Hank leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Barbara Mackey Baldwin, three daughters Karen Diane Howard, Teresa Carol Eaves and Phyllis Ann Stansell, three grandchildren Percy Eaves III, Jarrod Whaley, and Emily Whaley, ten great grandchildren, special friends Paul & Belinda Collins, Hershel & Beverly Cody and Randy & Diane Hampton, his fur baby “Tatoo”, numerous other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN. A service celebrating his life will follow the visitation time on Tuesday with the Reverend Jeannie Cissom officiating. The service will begin with military honors in recognition of Hank’s service to our country.
The interment and committal service will take place on Wednesday at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer, AL where he will be laid to rest beside his first wife Mary.
