Helen June Wilson

Helen June Wilson, 75, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday morning, July 13, 2019 at her home. She was born on March 1, 1944 in Tellico Plains, TN a daughter of the Carroll & Blanche White. Helen Loved flower gardening, being outdoors, dancing, sing and playing her guitar and spending time with her family. She will forever be remembered as a great wife, mother, and grandmother who loved Christmas and making each holiday special for her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Winfield & Addie White and Robert & Verde Stewart, six sisters Carolyn Stewart, Dorsey Ramsey, Armille Sloan, Aretta Swanson, June West and Mary Jo Hill, eight brothers, Cecil Stewart, Wade Stewart, Frank White, Wendall White, Vernon White, Jimmy White, Naymon White and Jesse White.

Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 43 years Selma Wilson Jr., two daughters Jacqueline Lawson and Angela Rogers, four grandchildren Caven Rogers, Emily Rogers, Whitney Lawson and Cole “Coltan” Lawson, one great granddaughter Violet Rogers, three sisters Linda White, Ruby Ramsey and Geneva Ashe, one brother Rex White, special nieces Corrina Ashe, Tina Thomas, Sharon Ramsey and Candye Lunsford, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday evening, July 16, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time on Tuesday.

The interment and committal service will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
