Helen Dring

Helen Jane Dring, of Birchwood, TN, born on April 11, 1957, in Shreveport, LA, passed away on February 1, 2024. She peacefully left this world, surrounded by her loved ones. Helen was a beloved daughter, mother, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her father Harold Folmar and mother Laverne Folmar; her husband Russell Dring and sister Evelyn Logan, who shared countless memories with her.

Helen is survived by her children: Melissa Lenjani, Tommy Yates and Shane Yates. She was also a loving stepmother to Tabitha Harrigan and Jacob Dring. Grandmother to Hayden Yates, Hayla Yates, Layla Yates, and Ava Yates. Helen remained close to her siblings: Carolyn Dew, Pamela Jackson, and George Folmar.

Loved by many, Helen's kind soul will be deeply missed. She had a passion for camping, traveling, retail therapy, and spending quality time with her grandchildren and her two fur babies.

Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Helen's life on Saturday, February 10, 2024. Starting at 1:00 pm, a visitation will be held at the Olive Branch Event Center, located at 109 Interstate Drive, Cleveland, TN 37312. A heartfelt Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor Scott McCurdy, will follow at 3:00 pm.

Honoring Helen's wishes, her remains will be cremated. The cremation will take place at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.

In this time of grief and mourning, let us remember Helen for the joy she brought into our lives. May her soul find eternal rest, and her memories forever live on in our hearts.
