Hazel Catherine Green

Obituary
Hazel Catherine Green, 87, passed away at her home on January 6, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 11, 1925 to the late Arlin and Artie Hill and was a lifelong resident of Lamontville. Hazel was of the Baptist faith and a member at Lamontville Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and canning. In addition to these, she will be remembered as a loving grandmother and mother who loved to spend time with her family.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leonard "Pete" Green, eight brothers, two sisters, and one step grandson, Barry Parker. She is survived by one daughter, Alice Fay Parker, two brothers, Taylor Hill, and Paul Hill, and one sister, Grace Copeland. She is also survived by two grandsons, Jeffery Botts (fiance Missy Coker) and children, Dustin and Mason Coker, Casey Botts (Tonya) and great-granddaughter Lily Kate Botts. She is survived by one step grand-daughter, Tammy Parker, step great-granddaughter, Tasha Clark, and step great-great-grandson Kyle Landreth. Hazel is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Lower Spring Creek United Methodist Church on Tuesday January 8, 2013 from 1:00-2:00pm with the service following at 2:00 at the church. Joe Manning, Kirk Martin, Devon Martin, Daryl Byrd, Jared Gee, Tyler Richardson, and Ed Martin will serve as pallbearers. The family asks that flowers be sent to Companion Funeral & Cremation Service before the service located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN, 37311.
