Obituary

Hattie Ruth (Perry) Harden, age 84, passed away October 9, 2015 in Chattanooga, TN. She was born September 2, 1931 to the late Erskine McMahan and the former Virginia Rudder. Mrs. Harden was a wonderful loving woman, mother and grandmother. She cherished her friends and was always there for others. Mrs. Harden enjoyed cooking, canning and being with family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one son, DJ Perry; and one daughter, Darnell and David Wooten.

She is survived by five children, Richard Perry, Jerry Perry, Eldridge and Sandra Perry, Virginia and Carl Reed, and Barbara Perry; one brother, Rudder and Katherine McMahan; and two sisters, Ann and Kenneth Colbough and Linda Dempsey; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held at her home at 570 Hales Bar Road in Guild, TN 37340. The Memorial will be at 11:00am on October 18, 2015.
