Harry Richard "Rick" Brenizer

Rick Brenizer age 95 passed away on 12/26/2020.
He was a graduate of Chattanooga High School.
He was a member and retired pastor in The Church of God and Church of God of Prophecy.
Rick served in the United States Navy during World War ll where he saw action in the Pacific, Asia and the Philippines.
He was a 51 year member and former chaplain of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local Union 43.
He is preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Brenizer.
He is survived by three children; Carol (Jerry) Pond of Chattanooga, TN, Mark (Mickie) Brenizer of Harlingen, TX and Craig (Cynthia) Brenizer of Charleston, TN. Seven grandchildren; Steve Cunningham, Melissa Stewart, Marisa Brenizer, Bria Brenizer, Braden Brenizer, Justin (Amanda) Brenizer and Corey (Keltsey) Brenizer. Eight great grandchildren; Chandler Cunningham, Elizabeth Cunningham, John Cunningham, Marcus Benford, Jayden Brenizer, Tinley Brenizer, Addison Brenizer and Harper Brenizer.
Companion Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A graveside service will be held at Fort Hill Veteran’s Cemetery in Cleveland, TN Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Clint Pulliam officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or other charity.
