Harrison Leonard "H.L." Knight, a beloved son, father, and dedicated block mason, passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on April 17, 1942, in Calhoun, Tennessee.

H.L. had a zest for life and enjoyed a few simple pleasures that brought him immense joy. Whether he was testing his luck at the gambling table, casting his fishing line into the tranquil waters, or playing a friendly game of cards, he knew how to embrace the moment and appreciate the company of those around him. His prized possession was his cherished Chavelle, which he loved to drive with the wind in his hair and a smile on his face. Harrison was also a canine enthusiast, and his loyal companions, Ewok and Lacey, held a special place in his heart.

As a dedicated block mason in the construction industry, H.L. worked tirelessly with his hands to create timeless structures. His craftsmanship and dedication were evident in every project he undertook, leaving a lasting impact on the communities he served. Despite having an education level of 8th grade or less, H.L.'s talent and passion for his work were unmatched.

H.L. was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Knight, whose absence left a void in his heart. He was also preceded in death by his brother Terry Knight and his half-brother George Hambright. While those who knew and loved him mourn his loss, they are comforted knowing he has been reunited with his loved ones.

H.L. leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his children: Jeff Knight, Deana Walker (Blu), and Kelly Knight. He is also survived by his brother Donald Knight, half-brothers John Hambright and Bob Hambright. He was a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather, whose presence and love were felt by many. Additionally, he leaves behind a large extended family and countless friends.

A celebration of Harrison's life will be held on Saturday, February 24th, at the Olive Branch Event Center located at 109 Interstate Drive NE, Cleveland, TN 37312, where friends and family will gather to reminisce, share stories, and find solace in one another's presence. The visiting hours will be from 2pm until 4pm, offering a casual environment for all who wish to pay their respects.
