Harold Clifton Ledford

Harold C. Ledford Sr., 72, a lifelong resident of Old Fort, TN passed away on Friday, December 25th, 2015 at his home following a brief illness. He was born on June 8th, 1943 a son of the late G. L. and Juanita (Sampson) Ledford. Harold was member of the Calvary Church of God in the Greasy Creek Community. He was a farmer and avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by three children Harold C. Ledford Jr., Carl Ledford and Caroline Ledford.
Harold leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of fifty six years Ruth Ann (Hawkins) Ledford, two children Douglas H. Ledford of Old Fort and Susan Speed and her husband James also of Old Fort, one daughter-in-law Juanita “Nita” Ledford of Old Fort, grandchildren- Jennifer & Brad Myers of Cleveland, Michelle Ledford &fiancé Scott Radke of Pittsburgh, Penn., Emily & Zak Cole of Newport, NC and Lori Dill & Daryl Stinnett both of Chattanooga, TN, great grandchildren Steel William Clifton Myers of Cleveland, TN and Evelyn Alice Cole of Newport, NC, siblings Lawrence Ledford of Riceville, TN, Joel Ledford of Missouri, Gordon Ledford of Waco, TX and Melba Townsend of Cleveland, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
There will be no services at this time in honor of Mr. Harold’s request.
