H. Janice Pennington Gray

Obituary

H. Janice Pennington Gray, born September 9th, 1928, passed peacefully at her home in Chattanooga, TN, Sunday, May 25th, 2014.

Janice had been a long time resident of Chattanooga after moving from Little Rock, Arkansas. Living the last several years at the Continental Condominiums.

She attended Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas. She was named the Football Queen for 1948.

She is survived by her three children Kenneth J. Gray (Dina) of Chattanooga, Randall S. Gray (Laurie) of Panama City Beach, FL, and Pamela McAllester (Bill) of Lookout Mountain, TN, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One sister, Jane Pennington Noble of Lampassas, TX and one brother, John Gilbert Pennington of Temple, TX.

She will be placed next to her Father, Gilbert R. Pennington and Mother, Rena Hicks Pennington at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Services will be performed by Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle, AR on June 21st, 2014 at 10am CST.
