Gregory Lee "Greg" Lashuay

August 14, 1960 — February 1, 2021

Gregory Lee Lashuay, 60, of Riceville, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on the morning of February 1, 2021 at his home, due to natural causes. Gregory Lee Lashuay was born on August 14, 1960 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Bill and Doris (Hatton)Lashuay. “Greg” as many would come to know him, grew up in Rudolph, Ohio along with his little sister Sherry (Lashuay)Burdette.
Greg attended school in Bowling Green, Ohio and that is where he met his first wife Darline Ludemann. When Greg and Darline wed he gained two daughters, Bobbie and Nichol and soon welcomed another daughter Leigh and a son Gregory. Darline and Greg divorced in 2004.
Greg was, as many would say, “a jack of all trades”. He had a large skill set in construction and hardscapes. He worked and lived in several states over the years and would come to find love again in 2011 when he met Bonnie (Dufrane)Lashuay in North Carolina. Greg and Bonnie wed on January 19, 2019 surrounded by family and friends, and he gained a step son Derek Dufrane.
Anyone who knew Greg knew him as a free spirit, fun loving, with a larger-than-life attitude, a person that loved a good party and had a bit of a wild side. Those who knew him best knew he had a great heart. He loved his family and friends and would try to help them whenever he could. Greg will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Greg is survived by his father Bill Lashuay, his wife Bonnie Lashuay, his daughter Nichol and her husband Jeff, daughter Leigh Ann and her husband Matt, his son Gregory and his wife Geannette, his step son Derek, his fourteen grandchildren, Thomas, Destini, Matthew, Jacqueline, Harly, Emma, Cody, Abby, Joseph, Natalie, Sue, Katie, Jackson, Aubrey, his first great grandchild, Carson, his two nephews, DJ & Josh, and his niece Jess.
Proceeding Greg in death are his grandparents, Chlorral and Daisy Lashuay, Buster and Anna Hatton, his mother Doris (Hatton)Lashuay, and his sister Sherry (Lashuay)Burdette.
