Gregory Culp

March 14, 1959 — September 8, 2023

Gregory Lynn Culp, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away peacefully on the 8th of September 2023. Born on March 14, 1959, to Enoch and Dorothy Elaine Culp.

He attended Stuart Elementary, moving onto Cleveland High School before receiving his diploma from Cleveland State. His ability to draw and his desire to make a meaningful contribution steered him towards a career as a draftsman at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) for several years, a role he cherished.

His love for the outdoors was surpassed only by his affection for his family - days spent at the lake with them were the highlights of his life. He was a dedicated member of the Cleveland First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Elaine Culp and brother Joel Douglas Culp. His memory will continue to be cherished by his father, Enoch Culp, and his siblings Mike Culp, Noel Culp, and Paula Culp. His daughter, Amanda Gilbert, and son, Jason Gilbert, whom he loved dearly, survive him. His legacy will also live on through the love he instilled in his grandchildren, Josh and Ashley.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. A Graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, Tn. Pastor Tom Wickes to officiate.
