Grace H. Bedwell

Obituary
Grace H. Bedwell, 94, of Cleveland, TN went home to be with the Lord on Sunday March 31, 2013 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Grace was born on November 15, 1918. She was a long time resident of Cleveland, TN and an active member of First United Methodist Church. Grace served as the secretary at First United Methodist for 32 years, she was very active in the youth department there and also with the Holston Conference of United Methodist Women. She spent much of her time here on earth investing in her church. She loved the work the Lord was doing at First United Methodist and dedicated her life to it.
In addition to her mother and father she is preceded in death by two brothers Foss Harwell and James Wilber Harwell, and sister Louise Baker. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 68 years, C.W. Bedwell. In addition to her husband, she is survived by many extended family members and a host of other close friends.
The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church located at 3425 North Ocoee Street, Cleveland, TN 37312 on Friday April 5, 2013 from 11:00am to the time of the funeral service at the church at 1:00pm. Interment will follow the service at National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. In lieu of flowers please send donations to First United Methodist Church.
