Gloria Dean Key passed away on August 14, 2023, in Cleveland, Tennessee at the age of 80 with her loving daughter, Angela, by her side. She was born July 15, 1943 in Athens, Tennessee to the late Iva Howard Vaughn and Lake Vaughn.
Gloria was a loving soul, known for her faith and selfless acts of kindness. One of her most cherished activities was making hats for the homeless, an interest that demonstrated her compassionate nature. Gloria was also often seen immersed in reading a good book. Gloria also worked at Bradley Memorial hospital as a PRN.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Everett of Calhoun, Tennessee.
Gloria leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter and care taker during her final days, Angela Polly-Adams (Paul Tilley), daughter, Rebecca Mundkowsky; daughter, Kelly (Jim) Reilly; siblings, Chris Slouka of Oregon, IL and Betty Bridges of Stoughton, WI; grandchildren, David “Michael” (Savanna) Bowman, Amanda Vaughn (Dean Romine), Kaitlin (Jacob) Bradley, Anthony (Brittany) Merrill; great grandchildren, Nicole Sneed, Junior Sneed, Nicholas Jackson, Bryson Vandevender, Reece Merrill, Landon Merrill, Aiden Merrill; great great grandchild, Braelynn Sneed; future great great grandchild, Westyn Sneed; as well as her special friends, Charlotte and Chuck Peels, Dallie Wyatt, Polly Suits Frady, Bertha and Danny Kincade.
