Glenda Link Smallwood

Glenda May Link Smallwood, age 78 of Ringgold, Georgia, departed this life on Monday, September 21, 2020 at NHC Rossville. Born in Bakersfield, California on May 26, 1942 to the late Frank “Mutt” and Martha Link and lived in South Pittsburg until 1970 when she moved and spent the rest of her life in Ringgold. Glenda was retired from Lowe’s Fort Oglethorpe where she was a kitchen designer and was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed canning, traveling, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Smallwood; son Paul Zariel Smallwood; and sister, Barbara Albright.

Survivors include her daughter, Vamela(Paul) Hookey of Ringgold; grandchildren, Brittany(Marshall) Jones and Brandon Edgeman; sister, Hazel Ellis of Illinois; and several extended family and friends.

There will be no services at this time, but there will be a private Celebration of her Life at a future date.
