Glenda "Gail" Sylvester Allen

Glenda Gail Sylvester Allen, age 80 of Cleveland departed this life on Tuesday morning, December 29, 2020 at her residence. Born on July 28, 1940 to the late James Rago and Ethel Tipton Sylvester, she was a lifetime resident of Bradley County and was retired after 30 years service as a nurse’s aide.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tracy Mitchell Allen; and eleven siblings.
Left behind to cherish Gail’s memory are her loving husband of 62 years, Jeffery D. Allen, Sr.; son, Jeffery D. Allen, Jr(Cynthia); daughter, Jennifer (Steven) Mills; grandchildren, Alicia (Sak) Khim , Eric(Sulane) Allen, Amy(Garrett) Elrod, Rachel(Seth)Prince, Dylan Mills, and Tristen (Megan) Mills; great-grandchildren, Riley, Cambell, Anthony, Gabriel, Liam, Matty, Maverick; and one on the way, Mallory; sister, Ruth Gross; and brother, Ronald(Pat) Sylvester. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
