Gilbert Wade

Gilbert Daniel Wade "Lilboy", born February 18, 1967 of Etowah, TN passed away on October 11, 2024. He was a loving father and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Gilbert was a collector of all things vintage including coins and knives and he was also professional wrestling's biggest super fan!

Preceded in death by father, Walter Eugene Wade; mother, Marie Wade; brothers, Johnny and Clinton Wade; and son, Casey Wade.

Survivors include his children, Dustin Wade of Cleveland, TN, Jason Wade of Cleveland, TN, Amy Gunter of GA, and Christy Whitman of GA; partner of 15 years, Jennifer Cheek of Englewood, TN; brothers, Gilbert "Frankie" Wade of Englewood, TN, and August Wade of Richmond, IN; 8 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on November 2, 2024 at 2:00pm at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service in Athens, TN with a visitation prior from 12:00 - 2:00. A graveside service will be held at Chilcutt Cemetery in Cleveland, TN following the service.
