Obituary
George Louis Ramage, Jr., 81, a resident of Cleveland passed away on Friday night, June 1, 2012 in a local hospital. George was born in Morgantown, WV on July 22, 1930 a son of the late George Sr. & Grace Ramage. George moved to the Cleveland area over twenty two years ago. George was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served his country during the Korean War. He was retired from the M & M Mars Company. George was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his wife Marlene, five sisters, and one brother.
George is survived by three daughters Brittany Ramage, Jane Holdman (Steve), and Nancy Walls (Gordon), one son Robert Ramage, one step daughter April Foster (D. J.), five grandchildren, two caregivers and sitters Pamela Dorn & Penny Albertson, Special friends: Mabel Tucker, Bob Dorn, Chris Dorn, Halie Dorn, Kathy Albertson, Angie Hurley, Mike Hurley, “His Little Buddy”-Bobby Everett Jr., Nick Nakdimen P.A., all of his Kmart & Dennys friends, and his beloved pets “Tex” and “Bailey” .
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Chris Dorn, Earl Higgins, David Ricketts, Brandon Stokes, Doug Lance, and Ron Chancey serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night June 6, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home parlor.
