George Longmire

George Edward Longmire, 72, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. George was born on June 13, 1951 in LaFollette, Tennessee to the late Earl Monroe Longmire and Josephine Hicks.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Turner Young, and Peggy Stusse; and his special friend, Johnny Norton.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers, Raymond (Debra) Longmire of Old Fort, Tennessee, and Glenn Earl Longmire; his godson, Bartlee (Deborah) Norton; nieces and nephews, Anthony Longmire, Letisha Longmire, Michelle Burns, and Tammy Burns; great nieces and nephews, Hayden Ware, Jason Levi, Jordan Levi, Kaden Burns, and Amber Cooper; his special friends, Shanda Norton, Tripp Norton, Tenslee Norton, Trace Headrick, Howard Thompson, and all of his flea market friends; and his fur babies, Scarlett and Bear; along with a host of extended family and friends.

There will be no services held at this time.
