George Joseph Escarra, 85, a resident of Soddy Daisy TN passed away on Saturday night, February 23rd, 2013. He was born in Bronx, NY on November 1, 1927 a son of the Jorge and Mary Escarra. George had made Soddy Daisy his home for the past seven years. He was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. George was retired from Aero Thurst Corporation.
George leaves behind to cherish his loving and devoted wife of twenty six years Mary Antonieta Escarra, one daughter Marlene Miranda, two sons Robert Escarra and George Escarra, step son Erick Escarra and wife Debbie, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two siblings, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 2377 Dodds Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37407 with Pastor Sergio Gutierez officiating.
