George Allen Johnson

George Allen Johnson, 80, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 8, 2022. He was born on October 30, 1941 to the late Floyd and Juanita Johnson. Allen worked as an auto body mechanic for many years. He loved working on cars. In addition to that, he worked for Cleveland High School for 14 years performing several jobs for the school including helping out with basketball and football games. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Johnson; daughter Shawn Holmes (Michael); sisters: Ginger Sneed (Dale), Wilma Bell (Bobby), Connie Hamilton, and Rebecca Manis.
A celebration of Allen’s life will be held at 4pm on Friday June 10th at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church with visitation prior to the service from 1pm until 4pm. He will be laid to rest at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.
