Geneva Payne Moore

Geneva Payne Moore, 86, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on December 5th, 2016. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was dearly loved by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Moore Jr.; parents, Zelma and Robert H. Payne; daughter, Sheila Renee Moore Baker; siblings, James Robert “Jay” Payne and Junior Lee “Buck” Payne.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Candi Renee Dowdy, Brandi Nicole Dowdy, and Gabriel Morrow; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Cecile B. Payne and Gladys “Jimmie” Payne, along with numerous extended friends and family.
A celebration of life service is planned for 7pm on Wednesday December 7th, 2016 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, with Pastor Marvin Howard officiating the service.
The family will be receiving friends two hours prior from the 5:00pm until the 7:00PM service time.
Interment will be private in the Fort Hill Cemetery.
