Geneva Lovell

Geneva Lovell, 85, a resident of Benton, TN passed away on Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home and Rehab. She was born in Iaeger, WV on March 4th, 1930 a daughter of Ira and Bessie Robinson. Geneva worked in the health care industry most of her life. She was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. Geneva loved gardening and held a special place in her heart for children and ministering to others. One word that could sum up Geneva’s life would be “caregiver”.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Roy Lovell and several siblings.
Geneva leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter Judy Crabtree and her husband Jon, three grandchildren Billy Crabtree (Courtney) , Lisa Gatlin (Sam) and Ben Crabtree (Rachel), seven great grandchildren Dylan, Cameron, Izzie, Jordan, Adam, Zachary and Lincoln, siblings Alvy, Myrt, William, Julie, R.C., Alvin and Joyce, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with Pastor Dwight Herod and Pastor Matt Durante officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM in the funeral home parlor.
The interment and committal service will take place on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Westview Cemetery in Liberty, SC.
