Obituary
Gayla Sue Beavers, 47, a lifelong resident of this area passed away on Monday, March 10th, 2014 at her home in Georgetown, TN. Gayla was born in Cleveland on June 21st, 1966 a daughter of the late Reverend Ray and Vola Crisp. She was of the Baptist faith. Gayla loved planning and going on vacations with her family to Daytona Beach Florida. She also enjoyed cooking, trying her hand at gardening, and her little dog “Foster”. Gayla’s favorite times however, were spent around the swimming pool with her family.
Gayla leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband John, son Colton and daughter Haylee. She is also survived by brothers Bill Crisp (Kathy) and Roy Crisp, one sister Beverly Alderman (Michael), mother & father-in-law Julian & Sylvia Beavers, brother-in-law Chris Beavers (Tracy) , numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN on Monday night, March 17th, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
A celebration of life is planned for Tuesday afternoon, March 18th, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the church with the Reverend Steven Miller and the Reverend Charles Armour officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaty Cemetery and will conclude with a butterfly release. You are invited to share a personal memory of Gayla or your condolences with her family at her online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com. Companion Funeral and Cremation Service and the Cody family are honored to assist the Beavers family with these arrangements.
