Gary J. Cowley

Gary J. Cowley age 55 joined his Savior and loved ones in Heaven on December 27th, 2016. He was a member of Shenandoah Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN. Before Gary's ill health, he served for over 10 years with Rock of Ages Ministries based in Cleveland, TN.
He is preceded in death by father- Charles E. Cowley Jr., mother-Barbara J. Cowley, two brothers- Steven Cowley and Daniel Cowley and one nephew- Charles Cowley IV.
Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory two sisters- Kathy Skaggs and her husband Mark, and Beverly J. Cowley, two brothers- Charles Cowley III and his wife Carol and David A. Cowley, several very special nieces and nephews, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Friday, December 30th, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Shenandoah Baptist Church located at 138 Osment Road SE in Cleveland, TN with the Dr. Charles Long and Larry Stikeleather officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time in the church sanctuary.
Interment will follow in the Chilcutt United Methodist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
