Gary G. Allen

Gary Gene Allen, 76, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away August 27, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith and a decorated Vietnam veteran of the United State Marine Corp. Gary loved his family more than anything and was proud of his 3 grandsons. He was an extremely talented musician/guitarist, loved boating and fishing.

Preceded in death by his father, Bernard Allen; nephew, Jared Allen; along with his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Survived by his mother, Naomi Allen; daughters Tamela Allen-Cole and Kyla (Dallas) Allen-Taylor; siblings, Danny (Sheila) Allen and Randy (Gisele) Allen; grandchildren, James Paul Cole, Jax Taylor, and Sawyer Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Gary Allen to the Pediatric Hydrocephalus Foundation and St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.
