Gary Corum

Gary Lee Corum, a beloved son brother and friend died on October 25th 2023 at the age of 55. He was born on May 6th 1968 in Knoxville, Tn. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Corum, and is survived by his mother Norma Corum of Cleveland, Tn. brother Terry Corum and sister n law Christine Corum of Athens, Tn, sister, Patricia Tussey and brother n law Jeff Tussey of Sumnter, SC, sister Pamela Strozak, of Cleveland, Tn and sister Sherry Brown and brother n law Norman Brown of Shreveport LA. He also had four neices Vanessa Terrell, Samantha Mann, Reagan Mann, and Camila Brown and four nephews James Brown, Paul Brown, David Tussey and Hunter Mann. Gary served in the United States Navy before receiving a scholarship to play baseball for Tennessee Wesleyan where he earned a Bachelor's degree. He lived and worked in Athens Tn. several years before returning to live in Cleveland. Gary was an avid sports fan. His favorite baseball team was the NY Yankees. He also enjoyed helping his mom with gardening. Gary loved animals and especially his little dog Scooby. He will be greatly missed! The family will be having a private service.
