Garvis Devoyd Branham

Garvis Devoyd Branham, 81, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019, surrounded by family and friends at his home. He was born on January 8, 1938, to the late Herbert and Leola Branham. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for two years. He loved to hunt, fish and trap, but above all, he was a family man who loved spending time with his family. Garvis was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Leola Everett Branham, and brother, Hoyt Branham.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Martha Collins Branham; son, Farley Branham; daughter, Connie Branham Lamb; brother, Zane Branham; several nieces, nephews, and other family members including his four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 4:00pm on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. A Celebration of Life service will take place at 4:00pm on Sunday following visitation with Pastor Dewayne Murphy officiating. Interment will follow the service in McInturff Cemetery in Birchwood, TN.
