On the early morning of December 20, 2023, Garry Grant Adamson, 70, entered into his peaceful rest with Jesus. He was born in Knoxville, TN on 10/10/1953 to the late John Adamson and Helen (Martin) Seaborn. Garry accepted Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior of his life back in the mid 70's at a bible study, thus changing the trajectory of his family forever. He loved Jesus, his family, fishing, shopping, nice cars and sports. Gifted with his hands, he was a craftsman by trade. He lived most of his life in Farragut, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Melissa Adamson, brother John E. Adamson III.
He leaves behind a rich legacy within his children, Gary G. (Melanie) Lancaster, Nicole (Robert) Armbrust, Crystal (Andre) Cross, Gary D. Adamson, Tiffany (Isaiah) McGill, 3 grandchildren LaDeJa & Sasha Lancaster, and Olivia McGill. Partner Mae Jean King, brothers John "Sonny", Eddie; sisters, Wilma, Debra, Patricia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thanks to his caregivers, Covenant Health, Beth, Ashley and team; churches and countless others who made his days brighter with meals, calls and warm embraces. His voice, laughter and presence will be missed but never forgotten.
Per Garry's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services held by his children. We will remember all of the laughs and treasure the memories that we've shared with him on this side of heaven.
