Gala Faye Coile

October 31, 1944 — January 27, 2016

Gala Faye Hall Coile, 71, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 27th, 2016 in a local healthcare facility. Gala was a beloved mother, nana, sister and aunt. Her greatest joy was living for and loving her family with a gentle fierceness that will never be forgotten. Nothing meant more to her than the time spent with her God in prayer and devotion, daughters, and grand-angels. She enjoyed singing, being outdoors and taking long drives. She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on October 31st, 1944. In earlier years, she was a member of the Children's Sunshine Choir which was sponsored by Faith Memorial and Pastor M.E. Littlefield. Later, as a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, she was a member of the choir Hallelujah Chorus. Many friendships were made during that time. By making regular contributions to the Samaritan's Purse and Locks for Love, she showed her passion for these two generations. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Horace Hall and Carolyn Melvene O'Neal Hall of Cleveland; a sister, Carolyn Ann Hall of Cleveland; a brother, Milton Hall of Louisville, Kentucky; and one nephew, James Beatty, Jr. Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters: Carolyne (Richard) Smith, Shannon McDaniel, and Angel Coile; Ex-husband and friend, Mack Coile; eight grandangels: Michael Curry, Sydney Blackmon, SeAira Coile, Schuler Blackmon, Bailey Craig, Jordan Sims, Casey McDaniel, and Adyson Coile, one great-grandson: Jude Lilley, one sister: Devada Ball-Cooper; nieces and nephews: Dianna Calfee, Elang Holden, Joseph Beatty, Curtis Hall and Janice Graff. The family would like to thank Courtney at Bradley Health care for the exceptional love and care she gave to Gala. Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Beacon Baptist Church on Corvin Rd. You are invited to share a personal memory of Gala or your condolence with her family at her online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com. Companion Funeral and Cremation Service and the Cody family are honored to assist the Coile family with these arrangements.
