Gail Evelyn Hawkins Link, 83, passed away on May 11, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare. She was born September 11, 1936 to parents, Eli and Gladys Marie Bennett Hawkins. Gail was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be missed by her family till we see her again in Heaven above. Gail was employed at Burlington Manufacturing, Hobby Mart for many years, also Bradley Square Mall.
Preceded in death by her parents, a loving husband of 55 years, Bill Link; sister, Lucille Horvath; brother, Johnny Hawkins; special niece, Joy Cross.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her children, Michael (Tina) Link, David (Beverly) Link, and Patti (Dustin) Cawood; grandchildren, Corey Link, Lauren (Isaac) Haruo, Victoria (Mark) Batey, Andrew B. Link; Bennett, Wyatt and Ryder Cawood; great-grandchildren, Maelie and Miela Haruo, Leila Jane Batey; very special great-nephew, John Cross.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Companion Funeral Home from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. A private service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday, May 15, 2020.
