Freida J. Hindman

Obituary
Freida Hindman, 57, of Cleveland, passed away at her home May 8, 2012. She was surrounded by her family and friends as she drifted off to be with the Lord. She was born to Roland and Dorothy Millsaps of Robbinsville, North Carolina on August 30th, 1954. A 1973 graduate of Cleveland High School, Freida was a devoted wife and mother and an active member of God’s Gathering Place Baptist church. She was a dedicated employee who enjoyed a 31 year career at Merck & Co, Inc, formerly Schering-Plough of Cleveland, TN.
 
Freida is survived by her husband, James Hindman; her children Bianca Hudson, Seth (Bianca) Hindman and Amanda Hindman; her siblings Dwight (Missy) Millsaps, Suzanne (Phillip) Jones, Gary (Becky) Brock and Kenneth (Harriet) Brock. She also leaves her mother-in-law Billie Davis and sister-in-laws, LuAnn (Warren) Lawson and Laurie (Travis) Wilson and brother-in-law Kris (Linda) Davis, all of Cleveland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her father father James Roland Millsaps, mother Dorothy Brock and her stepfather, Hoyt Brock.
 
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012, at Candies Creek Baptist Church, 294 Old Eureka Road, Charleston, TN, 37310, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the service time at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Tasso Cemetery on Saturday, May 12th at 10:00 AM. Pall-bearers will be Matt Nelson, David Moore, Chris Lowe, Matt Jenne, Kris Davis and Hunter Davis. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the American Cancer Society.
