Freddy Franklin Cartwright, 78 resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday October 5, 2019 at a Chattanooga healthcare facility.
A lifelong resident of Cleveland born to the late Parris and Ruth Cartwright some may remember him from working at Vest Grocery. He served our country in the National Guard for 9 years but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren, taking them fishing or to the park.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two sons Ricky and Steven Cartwright.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 17 years Ina Cartwright, 2 step children; Ida Montgomery (Anthony Moneymaker), Joseph Haney (Misty Moses), 15 grandchildren including 2 that were very special to him, Angela Austin and Tyler Clay Haney, 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Jerry Cartwright (Kathy) and C.L Cartwright (Bobbie) as well as several friends and loved ones.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
