Frank Joseph Cheek

Frank Joseph (Joe) Cheek was born on March 20, 1938 (80) in Nashville, TN to Shelah Cheek and Annie McDearmon. He died on May 24, 2018.

Joe graduated from Father Ryans in Nashville and then joined the army at 17 where he served as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne. After returning home he attended MTSU and earned a Degree in Accounting. He owned and operated several businesses during his career both abroad and in Chattanooga. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 4848.

Joe was proceeded in death by his mother and father and two sisters: Bernadine Hughes and Gerri Gilver.

He leaves to cherish his memory his longtime partner Deane Parker of Chattanooga and sons Patrick (Michele) Nashville; Michael (Tammy) Knoxville; and his daughter Lisa Slate of Nashville.

He has 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on June 11, 2018 at National Cemetery.
