Frank Dunn Jr.

Frank Dunn Jr., 89, of Old Fort, TN passed on January 19, 2019. He was born on July 14, 1929 to the late Frank Dunn Sr. and Pearl Headrick Dunn. Frank was a lifelong resident of this area. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. Frank was also a lifetime Masonic member. He enjoyed working on his tractor and smoking his tobacco pipe. Frank was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Betty Dunn; daughter Shirley Fletcher; brother Hoyt Dunn; sisters: Ruth “Tootsie” Dunn and Mildred “Sis” Serum; grandson Trampus Baxter.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Brenda Lowder (Tim); grandchildren: Eli Lowder and Jacob Lowder; nephew Greg Serum (Mary Lou); son in law Danny Fletcher. In addition to these he leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Friday January 25, 2019 at Shiloh Baptist Church located at 358 Hwy 64, Ocoee, TN 37364. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 2:00pm with burial to follow the service at Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery.
