Francis Louise "Sis" Newby

Francis Louise “Sis” Newby, 80, a resident of Birchwood, TN passed away on Monday night, October 10th, 2016 in a Spring City Health Care facility. She was born in Duff, TN on November 8th, 1935 a daughter of the late Jake & Maggie Hughes. Francis was of the Christian faith and an avid animal lover who loved spending enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Perry Newby, one son Clifford Newby and several siblings.

Francis leaves behind to cherish her memory three children Arnold Newby (Sandra) of Benton, TN, James Newby (Dana) and Richard Williams (Robin) of Ocoee TN, two sisters Sarah Brown and Birdie Lee Fisher of Cleveland, TN, Ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A graveside service is planned for Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the McInturff Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Potts officiating.
