Francis Eugene Roberts

Francis Eugene Roberts, 94, of Cleveland, TN Passed away on August 31, 2021. Eugene was the youngest of ten, born to William A. Roberts Sr. and Lena Mae King Roberts. He is preceded in death by father and mother, first wife Wilma Lyle Roberts, son Byron Roberts, grandson Eric Roberts, wife Grace H. Roberts; stepsons Phil Allen and Paul Allen; brothers Ralph (Ellis), Burl (Glady), Stanley (Eula), Lester, Beaumont, Arthell (France); sisters Velma (Lester) Byrd, Geneva (T.C.) Allen, Pauline (Rufus) Hardwick.

Left behind to cherish his memory is son David Roberts, Jeff (Sherry) Roberts; grandson Matthew (Julia); granddaughters Tori, Courtney; stepdaughter Delores (Joe) Sims; stepsons Steven Allen, Glen (Sandy) Carter. In addition to these, Gene leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

His family will receive friends from 2pm until 3pm on Saturday September 4, 2021 at the North Cleveland Church of God Dixon Chapel. A celebration of Gene’s life will be held at 3pm at the church. He will be laid to rest following his service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
