Frances June Hicks

Frances June Caldwell Hicks, 80, a lifelong resident of Cleveland went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday morning, November 5th, 2017 surrounded by her family and friends. June was born on June 29, 1937 a daughter of the late Red & Glennie Caldwell. She was of the Baptist faith. June was retired from Brown Printing Company in Dalton, GA. She enjoyed going to the local flea markets and antique malls, working in her flower gardens, but however June will forever be remembered for the love she had for her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty nine years in August of 2014, one sister Phyllis Campbell and one brother Jack Caldwell.
June leaves behind to cherish her memory three loving and devoted children; Gary Michael Hicks, Debbie Holcomb and her husband Don, and Dennis Wayne Hicks and his wife Sandra, five grandchildren; Shane Moses, Tammy Hicks Arrowood (Kelvin), Kevin Moses, Marshall Hicks and Emily Hicks Collins (Casey), six great grandchildren and another due to be born in December of this year, one brother Kenneth Caldwell (Kathy), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday night, November 7, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Samples Memorial Baptist Church located at 371 Samples Chapel Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Jerry Campbell and the Reverend Mark Cameron officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
The interment and committal service will take place on Wednesday morning, November 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Kevin Moses, Blake Moses, Casey Collins, Kelvin Arrowood, Kameron Arrowood and Marshall Hicks serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Knox Arrowood.
