In loving memory of Frances L. Baker Clark, 84, a beacon of love and warmth, who passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday February 7th, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Cleveland, born on May 9th, 1939, to the late Wilburn and Rachel Baker. In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Carren (Terri) Clark. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, whose love knew no bounds. She is leaving behind a legacy of generosity and love that will forever echo through her family's hearts.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 65 years, Gary Clark; Brother: Butch Baker; Sons: Chuck Clark (Denise), Steve "Pokey" Clark (Betsy), and Jamie Clark(Sherry); Grandchildren: Andy Clark (Sarah), Alex Clark, Chad Chaplin (Cayci), Arthel Clark (Ali), Miller Clark, Gracie Clark, Saylor Clark, Daniel Clark, Elizabeth DeBruce (Brandon), Luke Goforth(Emily) and Abbie Goforth; Great-Grandchildren: Hayes, Carolina, William, Jaxon, Carson, Isabella, Arlie, Waylon, Jesaiah, Bryson, Brody, and Ellie Kate.

Frances attended First Baptist Church of Cleveland. After many wonderful years of serving our community with their hometown business, A & C Amusement & Vending, Frances retired and pursued her passion of being a bright smiling face for many children as they entered the doors of Trewhitt and Bradley Central High School. She was a substitute for many wonderful years for the Bradley County School system. Frances lived a life defined by her unwavering devotion to her family but also her students that she met daily. She was known to keep money in her pocket to give to students when she saw a need of any kind. Her acts of kindness and her compassionate spirit touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, where every visit was filled with warmth and hospitality. Frances had a special gift of making everyone feel welcome and cherished. Her kindness, compassion, and smile were a guiding light for her family, providing strength and reassurance in times of need. Her hospitality knew no bounds.

Frances had a special gift for planning family vacations, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. Whether it was a beach getaway or Disney vacation Frances's attention to detail ensured that every vacation was a magical adventure filled with love and laughter.

Frances leaves behind a family who adored her beyond measure. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, showering them with countless hugs and kisses. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and supporting her loved ones, always putting their needs above her own. Her love was unmeasurable, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she may no longer be with us in body, Frances's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her life will be cherished forever, serving as a guiding light for her family as they navigate life's journey without her.

As we all mourn the loss of our beloved Frances (Mamaw), let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared so freely. Frances, you will be dearly missed, but your legacy of love and kindness will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know you.

The family would like to express how grateful they are for the Hearth Hospice team, Caretaker/Nurse-Beth and all that helped make Frances's time at home a peaceful experience.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, T.C. Thompson's Children Hospital, Life Bridges, or Hope 4 One in Frances' memory.
