Floyd Richard "Richie" Kirkland

Floyd Richard "Richie" Kirkland passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 46. He was born on April 21, 1977. 

Outside of his work as a heavy machine operator, Richie found joy in various hobbies and interests. He enjoyed fishing and spending peaceful moments by the water. Additionally, he enjoyed the adrenaline rush of riding a fast bike. However, above all else, Richie cherished spending time with his family. 

Richie is preceded in by his parents Floyd R. Kirkland and Evely Faye Moser, and grandparents, Charles Edmond Kirkland and Friede Kippert; and Traynor and Margaret Ricker.

The memory of Richie will forever be treasured by the love of his life, Tammy Hall; son, Richard Dillan Kirkland; and granddaughters Kinzlee and Harper Kirkland. Richie was a beloved sibling to Randy, Ronnie, Tammy, Sydney, and Lou Lou. He had several aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends who were like family to him. Their lives were enriched by Richie's friendship and unwavering support.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor Richie's memory on Saturday, September 9, at Island Creek Baptist Church in Madisonville, TN. The service will begin at 8:00 PM.

Richie Kirkland will forever be remembered for the love he shared, the joy he brought, and the memories he created. May his soul rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and his impact will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
