Florence Dale "Dee" Bryan

Florence Dale "Dee" Bryan, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on December 22nd, 2016 with her beloved husband of 58 years by her side at her home following a long illness. Dee was born on April 20, 1935 in Indianola, OK to the late James and Mildred (Williams) Caves. She graduated in 1956 from the St. Francis School of Nursing in Wichita, KS. She then met and married her husband John M. Bryan, MD on April 12, 1958. She left nursing to raise her family full time after the birth of their son John M. Bryan Jr. Dee was very active in her community and also St. Luke's Episcopal Church where she had been a member for many years.
Dee leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband Dr. John M. Bryan, MD, one son John M. Bryan Jr., two daughters Mary Kathleen Bryan Herron and her husband Eric and Rebecca Bryan Edge and her husband Jeffery, two granddaughters Lauren Ashley Sexton and Sarah Elizabeth Bryan, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.
A memorial service celebrating Dee's life is planned for Thursday, December 29th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Joel W. Huffstetler officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service time in the Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be to either St. Luke's Episcopal Church or Hospice of Chattanooga in Dee's memory.
