Faye Marie Bridges Harris

May 3, 1932 — December 24, 2024

Faye Marie Bridges Harris passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024, surrounded by love, as she entered her heavenly home. Known for her unwavering devotion to her family, passion for cooking, and love of gardening, Marie touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit.

Marie was married for nearly 50 years to her first husband, James Benjamin (J.B.) Bridges, until his passing in October 2001. Years later, she found love again with Holiway Harris, with whom she shared cherished years of companionship and joy.

Marie is survived by her children, who were the pride and joy of her life: her only daughter, Lisa Cochran, and son-in-law, Doug Cochran; her son, Kent Bridges, and daughter-in-law, Donna Bridges; and her three sons, Jimmy Bridges, Scott Bridges, and Travis Bridges.

She was a loving and devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren: Liv Cochran; Neil Cochran and his wife, Misty Cochran; Jordan Nelson and her husband, Robert Nelson; and Taylor Bridges and her significant other, Brett Snavley. Her love extended even further to her great-grandchildren: Kylee & Emilee Cochran; Max Cochran, &aleb Smith; and Charlotte Nelson and James Nelson.

Marie also leaves behind her two surviving siblings, Sarah Joyce (Tinker) Martin and Alice Partain, with whom she shared in the joys and challenges of a lifetime together as one of eleven children. Also proceeded by sister-in-law, Alma Casteel.

Marie's legacy is one of love, resilience, and faith. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Per Marie's final wishes, there will be no receiving of friends.
