Evelyn Silva Matonis

Passed away peacefully in her sleep, following a terminal illness. Born in Orlando, Florida and raised in Ft. Lauderdale. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Culp (Scott), and two granddaughters, Rachel & Lauren Culp. Evelyn is survived by her siblings: Steve (Margie) and Dana Matonis. Nieces Marti & Mike Hornell, Marci & Tom Farrell. Sarah & Zak and Annie Matonis.

Evelyn loved her career as a bookkeeper & appraiser. She loved to laugh, read books, and cherished the time she spent with her family and close friends.

One of her greatest joys was meeting with family and friends during the holidays. She was always the first to arrive at family gatherings, and the last to leave.

She will be remembered for her free spirit, and overall good-natured way of viewing the world. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Central Florida TBD.
