Evelyn Marie (Sinkle) Farmer, age 88, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s and dementia. She was born on November 22, 1933 to the late Raymond and Velma (Jackson) Sinkler in Watson, Illinois. Evelyn married Charles Farmer on October 29, 1955 in Effingham, Illinois. Evelyn was full of life, loved to travel, and spending time with her loving family. She was always kept busy whether is be farming, waitressing, factory work, or carnival work.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Farmer; sons, Charles Eugene and Charles Dwyane; daughter, Brenda.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Raymond, Paul, Bill, Richard, and Carl; daughters, Pamela, Mary, Loretta, and Crystal; along with several grandchildren; as well as many more great grandchildren.
A service was held on August 8, 2022 at the VFW in Effingham, IL. Here earthly remains were laid to rest with her beloved husband Charles at Oak Ridge Cemetery also in Effingham, IL.
