Eugene Hinds

Eugene Langley Hinds, 91, of Hixson Tn. passed away May 20, 2025 and donated his body to science at U.T. He is now home with Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

He was born Nov. 5 1933 in Fentress Co. Tn, the son of Willie and Dina Hinds.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Wilma Hinds, his parents and 3 brothers, Lester, Robert and David Hinds.

Survivors include his sons Stanley Hinds (Maureen) of Louisville Tn. and Larry Hinds of Sale Creek Tn., 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and companion Georgia Nichols of Hixson Tn.

Eugene was an engineer at Combustion Engineering for over 3 decades. He was an avid bicyclist, photographer and history buff.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
