Eugene Hamby

Eugene William Hamby walked into his heavenly home on Monday October 30, 2023. He was surrounded by his loved ones and his fur babies, Ella May and Tebow.

He served his country in the Army and was a supervisor at Magic Chef for many years. He loved the Vols, and being surrounded by family and his friends Ed and Carolyn Stout, Hospice Girls that he loved dearly, Jenny and Chelsea, and his adopted granddaughter Katelyn Osborne.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Dewey and Ora Hamby; wife Wanda Hamby, mother of his children Bernice Rogers, sister Eula May Hamby, son in law Ricky McCoy, and great granddaughter Hope McCoy.

He is survived by his son Rick (Alice) Hamby, his daughter Rhonda McCoy, his grandchildren Cyndi, Carrol, Chad Hamby, Chris (April) McCoy, Scott (Nicolle) McCoy; geat grandchildren Caleb, Josh Caroll, Coleman, Ashlyn, Ava, Matthew, Conner McCoy, his adopted granddaughter Cheyenne Norris, his great great grandchildren Emmie, Auther Carroll, and soon to be Asher Wilson, his siblings Bernice Stuart and Wilma Bates.

Per Gene's request there will be no services.
