Ernestine Evelyn Crisp

Ernestine Evelyn Crisp of Etowah, TN went into the open arms of the One who every earthly husband symbolizes on Friday, May 17, 2019. In this life, she was the daughter of Ernest and Stella Hill of Alcoa, TN. The seventh of nine children. She would have turned 85 on July 11th.
She is preceded in death by her youngest son Scott Crisp long with her parents.
Her survivors include her eldest son, Stacy Crisp of Calhoun, TN, his wife Susan along with their three children, Aaron Crisp, Cody Crisp and Emily Rummel; and her youngest son Terry Crisp of Dawson, GA, his wife Tykie, along with their daughter Mindy Audrade. She had seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sister, Eula Tpiton and Wilma Milsaps both of Maryville, TN.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A service celebrating her life will conclude the visitation time at 1:00 PM. Entombment will follow in the McMinn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that, since May is mental awareness month, donation be made to that cause. “My beloved spoke and said unto me- ‘Rise Up My Love, My Fair One and come away’” – Song of Solomon 2:11
