Erick Shane Bryant

Erick Shane Bryant, 43, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, February 26th, 2016. Shane was a lifelong resident of Polk and a member of the Church of God. He was an avid artist, wood carver and a comic book collector. He loved camping and the great outdoors and would do anything for his family, friends and neighbors. He was a Volunteer Fire Fighter in Polk County Tennessee and also loved heavy metal music.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother Loretta Lowe, loving sister Patty Duggan and beloved grandparents Donald Ray & Edith Vaught and Joe Wesley Bryant.
He is survived by his loving father Joe E. Bryant, two daughters Susan Johnson and Jayla, two step children Cody Holdiman and Taylor Holdiman, two brothers Chuck Calhoun and family, Jeff Calhoun and his family, several nieces and nephews, two grandchildren Summer Holdiman and River Holdiman and one on the way. He is also survived by four very special friends Angela Holdiman, Amber Travis, Nettie and Reece Gibbs and one lifelong friend who was just like a brother Robert Presswood.
A celebration of his life is planned for Tuesday night, March 1st, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Farley Branham officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service at the funeral home.
The interment will take place on Wednesday morning, March 2nd, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Robert Presswood, Cody Holdiman, Trevor Presswood, Reece Gibbs, Shane Holdiman and Matt Truelove serving as pallbearers.
