Emily Bible

Emily Josephine York Bible (Joise) has gone home to be with Jesus after a brave and valiant fight. She was born November 9, 1955, in Rising Fawn, GA, to James C. York (whom she adored) and June E. York. Emily attended Midsouth Beauty School and everyone in the neighborhood came to her for cuts, styling and even brought their pets. She was also a gifted artist who loved to draw, sketch, and paint. 

Emily was very creative and could repair and build just about anything.

She is preceded in death by her father, James York; three brothers, Orville York, Arnold York, and Carey York; husband, Richard Bible and son, Kris Bible.

Emily is survived by her daughter, Tina Sisk; grandchildren, Alex Parenti, Victoria Parenti, and (boy) Alex Bible; mother, June York; brothers, Franklin York and James York; sister, Crandell Plexico; a host of nieces, nephews that loved her very much; trusted companion, dog, Molly, who never left her side.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024, 12:00 PM-3:00PM. at the American Legion Post 95, 3329 Ringgold Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412.
