Elizabeth Irene Davis, 85, of Decatur, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. Elizabeth was born in September 28, 1936 in McMinn County to the late Frank and Eliza Harmon. She enjoyed gardening, watching the Atlanta Braves and the UT Vols, along with spending time with her family and friends.
Along with her parents Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers, Willis Harmon, and Fred Harmon; her daughter in law, Tina Davis; two brothers-in-law, Donald Newberry, and Homer Rudd; sister-in-law, Ella Sue Harmon; and her nephew, Alex Harmon.
She leaves behind to her memory, her husband, Darrell Davis; children, Russell Davis, Roy (Carmen) Davis, Wendy Davis; her grandchildren; Cody Davis, Jaxon Davis, Triston Spradling, and Daylen Spradling; her siblings, Wilma Rudd, George (Betty) Harmon, Helen (Raymond) Moon, Marie Newberry, Jean Harmon, Eula (Roy) Williams, Alice (Doug) Coleman; along with a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Clear springs Baptist Church with Reverend Frank Hicks and Reverend Kenneth Elkins officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm prior to the service.
A Graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 11:00 am at Clear Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Greg Parker, Scott Satterfield, Daylen Spradling, Triston Spradling, Shawn Gourley and Dennis Beavers serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody & Jaxon Davis.
